Hey guys what's up there's like literally nothing to write about from last week but I'll just write a short email!! I was literally in bed all day every day from last Saturday until this Saturday which was just the greatest week ever!! Not. It was so boring I just stared at the ceiling in my bed for a week and did nothing. I was sooo sick this past week and it was the worst and I didn't eat literally anything for like 6 days which was tough. I had to go back to the hospital, but I feel a lot better now! Thursday we had our transfer call and I was told I'd be staying here and I'd be district leader and training a missionary straight from MTC. I was kinda freaking out when I heard that cause that's crazy. I picked up my trainee Saturday and his name's Elder Llanos and he's great!! What's up everyone!! This week was wild and I've got a pretty crazy story to share with you all!! I'm gonna try my hardest to not make the story suuuper long but also tell all the good details. So Saturday during lunch, I got hit by a train with a super bad fever, body aches, head and eye pain, and I got super dizzy and weak. I got scared cause I know that these are all the symptoms of a super common disease here called dengue which is caused by mosquitos and its really really dangerous. I checked my temp and it was 103 and we told the mission Presidents wife and she told us to rush over to the emergency room to test for dengue. We got there around 5:30 and I was sooo sick and we sat in the waiting room for SIX HOURS!!! I was so sick and dizzy and light headed, I kept blacking out and passing out in the waiting room. They also rolled out a dead guy who had died from dengue which freaked me out. Finally at 11:30 they took me back and a guy stuck a needle in my arm to give me...

What's up everyone!! Just thought I'd share some GREAT news, I HAVE RUNNING WATER AGAIN!! After 10 days of no water, it turned on this morning so I was able to shower for the first time in 10 days!!! I DONT STINK ANYMORE!! We bathed in the baptismal font again on thursday with a bucket but besides that, nothing. Nada. Pretty disgusting but we're now!! Last pday was sick, we had a mission wide pday on Wednesday and we went to this big like jungle in the middle of nowhere next to a huge river. It was literally so cool!! We did some little games which were actually not the best but I got to hang out with all my boys in the mission including my best friend back home jase!! While we were there eating lunch, I kid you not, a coconut fell from a tree and landed on this girl's head. Literally straight from Looney Tunes or something, it was the funniest thing ever. YOOOOO WHATS UP!!! First off today is a MONUMENTAL DAY!!! One year ago today I received my call to serve as a representative of Christ and received my absolute DREAM ASSIGNMENT to the beautiful, hot, humid, desert, stinky, and PERFECT assignment to serve in Piura, Perú!! My biggest dream ever since I was a kid and hearing my dad tell me all his mission stories and wanting to be just like him, AND HERE I AM!! The most amazing decision I have EVER MADE!! Sooo in our apartment our water hasn't been working since Saturday night so we've had no running water for 5 days lol. Sunday and Monday I didn't shower at all and it was nasty, so I told myself I couldn't not shower another day. So yesterday morning I had a fire idea, why not bathe in the baptismal font. Hey guys what's up! Things are only getting better here in Peru, it's getting so good and I'm having so much fun and we had a fire week this week!!! We were able to baptize two of our friends this week which was super good!! Maricielo was baptized Wednesday which was super cool and she was soo hyped!! We couldn't fill up the font cause the drain was broken but I fixed it last second nd we didn't get it filled til like 45 minutes after the baptism was supposed to happen lol. Then we baptized Carlos on Saturday and the dude has such a strong testimony and will be a bishop within 10 years for sure!! Like 30 minutes before his baptism started, the member in the ward who was supposed to baptize him literally canceled to play soccer. I was like bro are you serious. But it was awesome cause that meant I got to baptize him so we SPRINTED home and got my clothes and hurried back and I baptized him!!
