ELDER BRADSHAW=MR WORLDWIDE

Hey guys what's up! Things are only getting better here in Peru, it's getting so good and I'm having so much fun and we had a fire week this week!!!

We were able to baptize two of our friends this week which was super good!! Maricielo was baptized Wednesday which was super cool and she was soo hyped!! We couldn't fill up the font cause the drain was broken but I fixed it last second nd we didn't get it filled til like 45 minutes after the baptism was supposed to happen lol. Then we baptized Carlos on Saturday and the dude has such a strong testimony and will be a bishop within 10 years for sure!! Like 30 minutes before his baptism started, the member in the ward who was supposed to baptize him literally canceled to play soccer. I was like bro are you serious. But it was awesome cause that meant I got to baptize him so we SPRINTED home and got my clothes and hurried back and I baptized him!! It was actually such a testimony builder to see all the problems that arose while trying to prepare for the baptisms. Literally NOTHING went right and we got them figured out at just the last second. Satan was trying soooo hard to stop them from happening and I can't blame him... BUT LIGHTNESS ALWAYS OVERCOMES DARKNESS LETS GOOO!!!

Also at church yesterday, our friend Andy came and we asked him to be baptized and he said yes!! Then we said, "when?" He said, "tomorrow." I said , "BET." SO SICK!! But then my como said we should wait til Wednesday and I was like YOOOO WHAT!!! But it's OK cause it'll give him more time to prepare I guess...

The other night was pretty weird. I woke up at like 3AM and I was literally on my knees next to my bed praying out loud in Spanish lol. I was so confused and got back in bed just thinking, "yo I hope there wasn't any angels watching over me just now cause that was embarrassing." Also my stomach is doing SOOO MUCH BETTER NOW which is such a belssing!!! I like actually can eat the food here now which was kinda not a blessing the other day. I actually aye all my lunch which had never happened before and the grandma that fed us noticed and said, "hey you finished your food, take mine." I was like, "now grandma thanks but I'm full." She said, "no you take it." Then she dumped her plate of food that she'd already been eating on my plate. I was like bro grandma I don't want your tuna patty and white rice lol.

I feel so much better though and I'm not super sick! I went to the doctor a few days ago so they could help and they gave me four medications bruh. Then they gave me this little plastic tube and I was like, "yo do I fr have to pee in this tube." And they said, "no you have to poop into it." I thought it was a joke. It wasn't. That was super weird. Not gonna share more details about that but lemme say, handing the tube back after I had finished it was top 5 most awkward moments of my life. But I feel pretty good now!! I still crave American food like you wouldn't imagine though. I literally told my mom I think I would give up my least favorite sibling just for my moms worst meal that she made. Just for a scoop of her freaking Shephards Pie or Beef Stroganoff. Mom if you're reading this, sorry I absolutely dogged on you're cooking before lol.

Also a girl in my ward asked for my social media accounts so she could follow me and asked for my tiktok and I told her how I'm like basically famous on tiktok. Then I explained the trend I started and the video that I made that went viral and my comp and her have both SEEN MY TIKTOK!!! From Peru and Guatemala they've seen my video and my trend!!! IM LITERALLY MR WORLDWIDE. MR 305!! They were freaking out when I told them it was me. Then they were telling their parents in the ward that I'm famous on social media and they came up to me at church and were saying stuff like, "hey don't forget us after the mission when you're famous." It was so hyped. I'm used to it though... lol.

Spiritual thought: I listened to a talk by Elder Uchtdorf this week called "Grateful in Any Circumstance." He said that no matter how bad pur circumstances are and no matter what's happening in our life, there's one thing we can do to make it joyful, WE CAN BE GRATEFUL!! He also says that it is good to count our blessings but that's not all the Lord wants from us. He wants us to have an attitude of gratitude. Because when we try to count our blessings, we also start to notice things going bad in our lives and often we struggle finding things we're grateful for. When we have an attitude of gratitude, we're grateful in all circumstances. We're trusting in the Lord in our trials. And seeing people in Peru Who are so grateful for everything even though it seems like they don't have much has opened my eyes. We need to be grateful because we have SOOOO MUCH!!!

LOVE YOU ALL!!! Don't forget to pray!!
