DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!!

Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That night, my head, body, bones, and eyes started hurting and I got a bad fever. Let's go. So ya I had dengue for like 2 weeks and it was horrible but it was chill. I'm too scared to tell my comp that I'm too sick to work so we just worked everyday normal and then I got home every night and slept for like 12 hours lol. Everyday I was walking through the street, going through it, thinking, "man I'm gonna be SO blessed for this." And I have been

Also this week has been CRAZY. So pretty much, an Elder in our Zone has anger issues and mental illness and he FLIPPED on his companion and started literally running away from him down the road and his comp was trying to chase him down and he just kept cussing him out telling him to get away from him. Then I got a call from the Elder and he was like, "yo it's an emergency my comp is going crazy right now he's running away and screaming and literally almost jumped off the third story roof." In my head I was like, frick I have NO idea what to say or do. And then the Elder says, "oh my comp is now walling towards me." And I hear his comp say, "who are you talking to?" And he told him it was the zone lesders. And then the Elder started cussing him out calling him a baby for complaining to the zone leaders and then the Elder literally grabbed his comp by his tie, pulled him in, grabbed him by his throat and tried taking the phone from him. I was literally listening to the whole thing thinking they were killing each other. The Elder on the phone pushed his comp off him, and then his comp grabbed his tie clip and hucked it at his comps face. So long story short, we had to go do emergency exchanges with them for A WEEK until we could figure out an emergency transfer. Super duper fun.

That's pretty much it though. We got a lot of good stuff going on here and it's been fun and the mission is great. Love you guys
