HAPPY EASTER!!

hey everyone what's up!! it's been like a month so I wanted to give a little update about how it's going! happy Easter to everyone too! I actually had no idea it was Easter until like 5 pm that day, I was shook.

I've been doing good here in Los Pinos though! we had transfers a few weeks ago and I stayed here and got a new comp named Elder Ticeran and he's from Lima. my heart kinda dropped when I found out I was gonna be with him and it's kinda been a tough few weeks with him, but I knew my good luck would end soon cause my last 8 months had been amazing.

right now in our área, we got 2 families of 4 kids between the ages 14-8 that are progressing super well. they all LOVE us and we went by their houses on Sunday and all 8 of them walked to church with us. it was adorable. it's perfect cause all 4 from each family are like best friends with the other 4 from the other family. they're all on date for the 20th so that could be a great day!!

this last week, the sister missionaries in our zone got held at gunpoint and robbed. literally at 2pm in broad daylight on a busy road. kinda wild. we had to go change the lock on their door cause they stole the key to their house too. since they got robbed, they've been getting followed home by groups of men, they've had guys come up to them and ask for theaddress of their house and ask them super sketchy questions, and in the middle of the night, they've been hearing people at their front door trying to break in. so, we went over and emergency transfered them out and moved in some elders. now they'll just have to deal with it I guess lol.

also a few weeks ago we had our multizona and like always, they cake everyone in the face that has had a birthday in the past transfer, and that was me. but they decided to change it this time and instead of throw cake, to throw whipped cream covered in food dye. stupidest idea ever. it stained my shirt, and my pants, and my garments, and shoes so bad. I was so heated. it's ok it was a learning experience I guess.

yesterday was probably the best pday of my whole mission. we had a zone leader pday and leadership council so I got to hang out with my guy Elder Austin and all my other boys from 8am-11pm. me and Elder Austin literally played spikeball and pickleball for like 6 hours. we RAN those courts. just like back home, it hit me so many times yesterday that I can't believe I'm just playing spikeball with my best friend in Perú. it is still so crazy. we got BURNED from the sun cause its so hot here, and I woke up this morning and my body hurts so bad lol. so worth it.

overall, I can't describe how much I love the mission! I've been able to see how much I'm truly happier when I follow Jesus Christ and I'm obedient and keep him commandments. I'm so happy I'm here.

I love you all and hope you have a good week!
