EMERGENCY TRANSFER

hey everyone how's it going!!! just thought I'd send out a quick little update of what's going on over here!

sooo in my last area I talked a little bit about my new comp Elder Ticeran and how it was kinda tough with him. he's diagnosed as bipolar and it made things super hard, so we ended up having an emergency transfers last week. he had some problems he was going through and doing some things he shouldn't have, so it was probably best. I definitely learned a lot of integrity and patience the last 4 weeks with him though, so it might not have been what I wanted, but it's what I needed!! I also stayed on the area which I was excited about!

my new comp is Elder Gibbons and he's great. he's super fun and a good missionary. it's actually been such a good past few weeks. the last week and a half have probably been the hardest I've worked in my whole mission. we get back every night exhausted and it's the best feeling ever. the mission is still just getting better and better.

last week we found these 2 kids camed Lian and Gabriel and their mom us an inactive member and we've been teaching them and they'll get baptized next week. also our friend Bryan who is SO SICK will get baptized next week. Bryan is so funny I love him. also we have a family of 4 kids that we're still trying sooo hard to get the moms permission for their baptism which is tough.

this week I finally hit a year in Perú!! the day I hit one year, we were gonna order some sushi to celebrate, but right when we were going home, some old lady chased us down and asked us to come give her grandson a blessing.  we went and gave the blessing and taught her whole family of 8 and they loved it! after the lesson she made us food and it was just an entire grilled fish with rice. not one of my favorite foods here. I ate it all though and to celebrate one year in Perú, I ate the eyeballs too, they also gave us a fat cup of coffee and I didn't know it was coffee cause they have a drink here called Ecco that looks and tastes just like coffee, so I drank like half the cup until she said it was coffee lol.

things are going super good here though and I'm having a lot of fun!! my little bro Joshua got his mission call a couple weeks ago and he's going to Colombia, Bogotá and I can't explain how grateful I am for the missionary work and how excited I am to have 3 people from my family on the mission at the same time!! so exciting!!

love you all!!
