OUR NEW PET

hey what's up! I forgot to do one the last few weeks so I'll try to cover everything from the past 3 weeks. 


So we ended up finding an apartment! we were so hyped cause now we don't have to walk 2 miles to our area and back twice a day. the floor below us is a veterinary office so our apartment literally smells like dog poo 24/7 so we been going crazy with the Febreeze. 


A couple weeks ago, my boy Henry got baptized in my last ward! also this last Saturday me and my comp baptized our friends Junior and Jacob! it was super cool, they're both 11 years old and they were so excited! our ward mission leader didn't tell us until 30 minutes before the baptism that we only had one baptismal suit so we hurried and borrowed our zone leaders white pants cause he's literally 4 feet tall and Junior had to wear them. his mom took off her belt and put in on him and he was good.


we've been visiting a bunch of beaches lately which has been so sick! we live right by the beach so we go job to the beach a few times a week and on pdays we go out and visit different places. we've gone to a place called La Tortuga and Los Cangrejos. 


we also caught a Lizard this week and he now lives in our big extra sink and his name is Leo. I worry for Leo. I been catching him moths and flies to feed him but dude doesn't eat anything. Leo's a little ungrateful but we still love him. prayers up that he starts eating and doesn't die


I've been really good lately though! I can't believe Christmas is so soon and I'm so excited. The past week, me and my comp have been listening to "O Holy Night" on literal repeat and I learned to play it on the guitar. You can not convince me it's not one of the top 5 most beautiful songs songs of all time. it literally brings tears to my eyes everytime. SO powerful. it's incredible. I want you all to go listen to it this week and tell me it didn't bring tears.

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
