HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN
This week week was cool! I started off the weekend on Tuesday leading my first zone conference and it went good! This week we've also been going to a different part of our area that we have to get on a bus for like thirty minutes and then there's just this little neighborhood in the middle of nowhere. We started teaching people there til we noticed that like half the people there are literally illiterate and don't know how to speak. We would teach lessons and they would just stare at us and not say a word and it was so weird. We taught the restauración to a family and I was just thinking, "you literally didn't understand a single word I just said." Literally there life is just eat rice, breathe, sleep and repeat. Crazy.
This week I was able to do exchanges with the AP which was sick. I had to run my area and I'm new here so I do not know a thing about this place yet so it was just a lot of him asking, "where are we going?" And me saying, "I'm not gonna lie, I have no idea." It was still good though. Then the next day we had a zone leader meeting in the mission home with all the zone leaders, the APs, President, and the Sister leaders. It was powerful and it was so fun cause most of the leaders are so cool so we were there from 9 AM-10 PM and I had so much fun.
We have sooo many people that are progressing that want to be baptized that we're just trying to find time to go and visit and teach! We found out though that when you tell a group of kids that my comps brother is Captain America and my best riend is Mr Beast, they'll listen to anything you have to say. So that has worked good and we've given out so many signatures.
Something I really liked that I learned this week is that this life is meant to be hard. It's meant to be hard because we're being tested for the celestial kingdom daily. Which means we're given the hardest trials because in the end, we're given the greatest reward.
