BUZZED HEAD

Hey guys whats up! This week was really good and I started it off strong by buzzing my head last Monday. I had to do it to celebrate one year. And also everyone was daring me and I'm easily pear pressured. I now look like 11 from Stranger Things.


This week we went and visited some Elders in the zone who live really far away and did some work with them in their areas cause they're low key just lazy and not doing anything. They live in a really pretty place and there's a big Jesus statue like the one in Brazil but a lot smaller that we got sick pictures with. On the ride home we had to take a taxi with two other 5'4 300 pound Peruvians. My comp went up front and I was squished in the back. The dude next to me was slumped on my shoulder the whole hour and a half ride.


This week we went to this tiny town in the middle or nowhere in our area and it's just full of illiterate people. We started talking about food with a fam and they have never heard of a taco or a burrito. I was shook. They told me they had heard of Joseph Smith and The Book of Mormon. Literally insane that these people don't have a clue what a taco is but they know of Joseph Smith. If that's not validity that this work is progressing, idk what is.


Everything is going so good here though! Me and my comp have a blast together! The other night he went to pee in the middle of the night and I snuck in and grabbed his ankle and poor guy almost cried. We have transfers this week though so he'll be leaving:(

Merry Christmas

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
