SO BUSY

Hey what's up guys! This week was crazy but it was actually so much fun!!


So last Tuesday and Wednesday were my last two days in my area Lopez Albujar so I spent most of the time going and saying goodbye to a lot of people. So many people I'm gonna miss. Then Thursday was probably the most exhausting day of my mission. It was the day of transfers so I got my new comp and it was my first day as zone leader. We literally spent all day from 11-9 helping all the people in the zone move all their stuff into their apartments and make sure they're good. Lots of people were moving into new apartments so we had to go and move all of their stuff for them and we went apartment shopping for other elders. I was dead by the end of the day but I also loved it cause I love the feeling of being important and being needed by people.


A lot of this week has just been taking care of the other missionaries and meetings but we've had some really good lessons too! You wouldn't believe the amount of people this week that we've seen taking pictures or videos of us. And they don't even try to hide it. I don't blame them though cause there's 6'3 and 6'4 white guys in the middle of nowhere Peru.


Also on Saturday at lunch a member made us some noodles for lunch and she literally just scooped it with her bare hands onto our plates. I was like bro why are u gripping my spaghetti when there's literally a scooper right next to u.


This week I've been thinking a lot about how unready and unworthy I am to be zone leader. I'm literally still scared of the zone leaders cause I feel like they're just insane. I felt out of place and that I wasn't how I should be. I've always thought if myself as a leader, but I just felt like this was too much too soon. But something I've been learning this week is about how God sees us as we could become. He knows what we can be and he knows what we are right now better than we know ourselves. When he looks st us, he sees our potential, cause we have SO much potential. Cause imagine if somehow a baby was made using the genes of Barry sanders, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James. That baby would have so much potential. We were made from literally God. We have sooo much more potential than we think cause we were made in the image of God. Pretty sick.


I don't have any more time but I've been having SO much fun lately and I'm doing so good! I hope you're all good, have a good week!

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
