PROMOTED TO ZONE LEADER

Hey whats up guys! So I actually don't remember like anything that happened the past two weeks, but I'll share a couple things.

So last week was really good, we had a ton of lessons and we were grinding! This week was the opposite though lol. This past week, we didn't teach a single lesson. My comp doesn't want us telling people what's wrong with him cause hes embarrassed so I'll just say this week he had something that rhymes with flemorrhoids. So we were stuck in the apartment literally the whole week. It was so boring but as I was sitting around I thought, "ok why does God want me locked up for the next week?" And I took it as a time to just study the scriptures all week. I was able to finish the new testament and almost read all of doctrine and covenants! It was still really boring all week, but it was nice to find the good in it and figure out why I was meant to be stuck in the apartment all week!

So this monday my comp was finally feeling better so we were able to go do our pday stuff, and my wallet got stolen... It couldn't have been at a worse time cause I just got all my reimbursements from the mission, and I had just taken all my money out of my card from the ATM, so I had 600 Soles in my wallet. I also had my residency card, my debit card from the US, my debit card for Peru, my insurance card, and my temple recommend. Some random dude in Peru now has a recommend for the temple. I was pretty dang depressed when I lost it. I wanted to dive out of our three story window all day long. I still kinda want to a little bit and I am right next to the window rn, but I'm trying to forget about it.

So last night we had our transfer call, and IM GONNA BE ZONE LEADER! I'm so excited but I'm also like kidna freaking out. And my comp is literally like my favorite person in the entire mission!! Like no joke we're like the same person and I love him so much. And he plays the guitar so he'll be able to teach me more! And there's only one area in the whole mission that is in the jungle and not in the desert, and it's in my district!! I sweat this couldn't be better. I couldn't even sleep last night cause I was just so happy.

Also when I found out I was gonna leave this area, I sent a message to my best friend I've made on my mission Mauricio. He's the 17 year old I baptized a couple months ago who's preparing for a mission. He sent me a really nice text and told me that he had never made friends before, and he prayed and prayed for someone to be his friend, and right before he was gonna end his life, I showed up at his door. He said I'm the best friend he's ever had and how much I've changed his life. It was the sweating thing I've ever heard. How I literally changed and saved a life. That I was sent here for a reason. That as a missionary, if I follow the spirit, I will rescue those people looking and praying for Elder Bradshaw. So everyone who's serving a mission, or who will serve a mission, go out there and change lives and save those people who are looking for you specifically. I can't imagine being happier than I am out here right now!

Love you all, have a good one
