I GOT MY VISA

YOOOO I GOT MY VISA EVERYONE!!! my mission president called yesterday and gave me the news and he already has my travel arrangements to fly out April 10th at 10:55 LET'S GOOOOO!!! literally I've never prayed for something so hard in my life and I got it!!! I couldn't be more excited! this is the second happiest moment in my life only to the time when I 1v1ed Cooper Kesler in 8th grade and we tied. SOO HAPPY!! also I hit six months the other day as a missionary!! Elder Phippen put it best in his email when he said, "it's been the longest and shortest six months of my life." such facts. only 18 months left to represent the Savior of the world!!!


the past couple weeks have been pretty sick too!! we had transfers a week and a half ago and my new companion is Elder Beltran snd he's 5 foot 3 and Mexican and it's so funny he has the voice of a chain smoker. we work soo hard together and we've found like 25 new people to teach in the past two weeks! I also went out to eat with grandma and grandpa Bradshaw and Aunt Jen and it was sooo fun! They're AMAZING examples of the light of Christ in my life and I hope I can become even just a sliver of the person my grandma is cause she is the literal GOAT!!


it was one of our recent converts birthday and he's such a dog he's like my best friend and he wanted us to eat dinner with him on his birthday and u felt sad cause it was his birthday dinner with the missionaries and bishop:( we had pizza and he serenaded us on his guitar and he was soo happy to celebrate his birthday with us.


Antolino is also getting baptized this Saturday and we've seen sooo many miracles with him. he also has been super shy but we asked his to read the Book of Mormon and the next lesson he just lit up!! he just shared all of his favorite verses with us and he's been staying up til like 2 in the morning reading in the Book of Mormon and watching the Boom of Mormon videos! he said, "I love this book it's so powerful! it's literally like the Bible but tis better cause it's easier to understand!" We were like YA I KNOW ANTOLINO!! he's so awesome and he's 18 and wants to serve a mission too!!


we put two kids Keilan and Kalani on date again and I love those kids so much. We've worked with them for awhile and they don't have a dad so I really feel like their dad it's so awesome. keilan literally is so ready he knows everything and they both want to be baptized so bad. I told keilan how I might be leaving in the upcoming transfers jn. a few weeks and he got so sad and said, "noooo, I hope the weeks go by slowly cause I don't want you to leave." so tender. I love him.


spiritual: One of the scriptures I recently memorized is 2 Nephi 2:27 and I've been thinking about it a lot. it says with our agency we have two choices to make, Jesus or Satan. there is no in between. every choice we make in our lives we're either choosing Jesus or Satan. sometimes I do things I know I shouldn't and in my head I think, "its OK it's not that bad I could be doing worse things." but in the end it's not what Jesus wants so it's what Satan wants. don't try to bargain with the Lord and do bad things and think "hey I could be doing worse things." you're letting Satan win. make sure with every choice you make you're on the Lord's side. Satan's the worst!!


not much else! I'm so so happy out here it's not even funny!! I love you all and miss you so much!! also my March madness bracket got shafted cause I had purdue winning it all:(

Merry Christmas

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
