ANTOLINO GOT BAPTIZED

whats up everyone!! not gonna lie I meant to send this the other day but I'll just send it now lol. anyways this week's been so fire!! literally anytime during the week that I get upset or unmotivated, I think in my head, "bruh you're literally going to Peru, nothing to be upset about, grind out the last two weeks here." and I get WORKING. such a fire motivation. I can't stop smiling anytime I remember that I'M GOING TO PERU!!! 


so this week we got to baptize Antolino and it was sooo hype!! he's got such a sick story and testimony! so Antolino's 18 and a week before his baptism, some of his boys called him and said, "yo bro we're going to a party tonight, come with us." and he said, "nah guys, I'm changing my life, I won't do that, but I would love for you to come to church with me on Sunday." SO POWERFUL! he amazes me. his friends didn't go to church and he said he's actually lost almost all of his friends since he decided to change his life and join the church, but he's never been happier!! he's so inspiring!! 


also a couple days before his baptism, I told him to bring white underwear and he didn't understand so we looked up white underwear on Google to show him and a whole lot of women wearing lingerie popped up and he started laughing and we screamed and exited out and I was like, "no, do not buy that, that's not what you need." I was scared dude was gonna pull up to his baptism in some Victoria's Secret underwear but it was all good!!


also we had a lesson with my best friend ever, Keilan. he's 15 and I kid you not, he is the most amazing kid I've ever met. I've never bragged about knowing someone as special as keilan!! we taught him about temples and how we can do Baptisms for the dead so that everyone can make it to heaven and I look at him and he started getting teary eyed and he goes, "oh my gosh, you're gonna make me cry." he then told me about how his little brother passed away and that a pastor told him once that his brother wouldn't go to heaven and he always thought his little brother was gonna go to hell. he looked right at me, starting to cry, and said, "so he can still go to heaven?" And I said yes of course he can!!! he was SOO HAPPY!! he wants to serve a mission so badly and I LOVE THIS KID LIKE CRAZY!!!


spiritual message: this past week has been maybe the most spiritual week of my life! I've been studying humility a lot and I swear I thought of the most fire quote ever. maybe it's already a famous quote but if not, I claim this quote cause it's fire, "humility doesn't mean thinking less of yourself, it means thinking of yourself less." such facts. I literally motivate myself. we should still be confident in ourself, but we should think about ourself less and look towards christ in all things and choose his path!

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
