Hit By A Car
Yooo what's up guys, not too much happened this week so it's probably a short email cause I don't have too much time.
I had some really cool moments where I got to actually use my Spanish with some people which was great!! A little fun fact, the area I'm in has the least amount of Spanish speakers in the whole mission, so I have no clue why I'm here lol. It was super cool though cause I've been mega discouraged with not being able to use Spanish and feeling behind in Spanish, and my roommates found this chick who only spoke Spanish so they called me and told me to help them with it and I was so scared. But it went so well!! I understood the whole conversation and invited her to church and got her phone number and she said she's down to meet up and talk to missionaries and come to church! It was so sick and made me so happy to use Spanish.
So I did get hit by a car lol but not bad. I crossed the road and the car just didn't see me and hit my back tire and I flew off but I was OK. They came out and apologized but I said I was good cause I was late for a lesson lol so we left.
We put this lady named Michelle on date for baptism and she was like crying and feeling the spirit so strong and just loved it so much which was so cool! Then the next day she told us she changed her mind... We were so confused and we went and talked to her and she said she needs a break from the church for a few days and she'll think about it and she was low-key ripping into the church a bit and I was shook. I was so excited for it but hopefully she decides to keep meeting with us.
So I'm actually getting a colonoscopy this Friday which us super hype lol. If you don't know what that is, they put a camera into a place where you don't want a camera to go into lol. I've been having some "problems" that they wantto get fixed before I go to the third world country Peru. I'm like actually pretty hyped. I'll get to go under anesthesia and last time I did, I was nuts andi don't remember any of it, so I'm super excited. I also have to take this INSANE medicine which is like laxatives on steroids to get me ready for it which I'm not excited about. Prayers for Elder Bradshaw.
Also I still can't believe my best friend Elder Austin is literally in my mission in Peru right now. He keeps telling me all about it and it makes me a little depressed, but it's ok because Phoenix is still cool too. I'll be there soon Elder Austin
Spiritual thought: I can't get over how amazing the Book of Mormon is. Like it literally is so amazing and I can't believe that some people read it and turn it down and people choose not to read it. I feel so peaceful and so calm when I read it. The prophet has invited us to read it every day and I hope I do it for the rest of my life. I want to invite you all to read it every day. And not just read it, but to REALLY read the book every day and think about what it's saying and study it. I promise, you will find a difference in your life every single day.
I love you all so much and miss you like crazy. I can't believe I wont see any of you until next year. This is gonna be a fire year!!
