CHRISTMAS WEEK

WHATS UP GUYS ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS!! I'm so excited for Christmas but it doesn't even feel like Christmas cause it's still sunny everyday and I keep forgetting its literally December. I do wish I was home for Christmas at times but it's ok it'll be super sick in the field. Not too much happened this week so there's not too much to talk about.
Also, I need some good general conference talks to listen to right now so PLEASE send me talks to listen to and I would love that. 


We had transfers this week so I have a new trainer and I think we're still just getting used to each other cause it hasn't been great yet lol. He's not very nice at all but I think it'll just take some time I hope. 


I got a funny story that happened last week. My old comp and I were at a dinner with a single mom and her kids and my comp asked the mom what she can do during the Christmas season to serve others, and she said, "I think I'll bring some cookies over to my neighbors". And my comp was going to say "I love that." But instead, he accidentally said, "I love you... oops I mean, I love that." And he said it like so enthusiastically and then I started laughing so hard and I couldn't stop it was hilarious and then he was like, "oops I didn't mean to say that, it just slipped out." And then I just couldn't stop laughing. 


And then the other day at a members house, the dad gave me this hot sauce and it was the hottest hot sauce in the world and it was 9 million Scoville and he convinced me to eat it. I was throwing up in their kitchen for a while and bawling my eyes out and it was pretty awful. 


We were knocking doors a couple days ago and this 13 year old girl answered and she looked so scared and we were talking to her and then she was like, "wait, you guys scared me, I thought u guys were those dudes who walk around talking about church and stuff like that haha." And I was like, "oh well that actually is us, were missionaries." She slammed the door midsentence but it was pretty funny. 


Spritual: It's so important to remember the meaning of Christmas as it gets closer. The word Chistmas has two parts Christ-mas. And in Spanish, mas means more. So this is the time of the year where we should have more Christ in our lives and to celebrate him. He is the gift of Christmas and the best thing you can do for his birthday is serving others. Cause if he was here and it was Christmas time, he would never be asking for gifts for himself, he'd be giving gifts and serving. He is the gift. <3


Anyways, I love you all and I miss you guys a ton. I just want to be playing fortnite Christmas and fortnite Christmas music. Merry early Christmas

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
