BIKE CRASH
Hey guys how's it goin!!! I'm lovin it here in Arizona and I'm having so much fun! Not too much happened this week so this will definitely be shorter than last weeks.
So I finally have started to learn how to do laundry which is super nice! I have accidentally put it in the dryer first before the washer cause I got them mixed up and the dryer was making some weird noises. I still have to have my comp show me how to do it but I'll get there and its gonna be so cool when I can do it by myself.
A few days ago I was riding my bike down the road and a branch was hanging over the sidewalk right above my head so I decided to reach up and grab the branch while I rode past it and try to yank it and tear the branch down. I didn't know that apparently literally every bush or branch in Arizona has thorns on it and when I yanked it, this massive thorn literally went right into my hand and it was massive. I was driving past a bunch of cars waiting at a red light so I had to hold back the tears and pretend nothing happened. Laugh now, cry later. The thorn was like an inch long and all the way in my hand and I though it was poking out the other side. I pulled it out and kept it as a reminder to never do that again. Also the same day, my comp and I were biking next to each other on a path at night and he wobbled a bit while he was riding and he accidentally got close to me and his handle bar went straight into my pocket and I didn't know and I sped up and it pulled his handle bar and he flew off his bike and bellyflopped on my back tire and my backfire sucked in his shirt and he was stuck and then I flew off and it was so funny. He had tire marks all over his white shirt and we had to go change.
We've had some really cool experiences and we're teaching some people who seem to be really interested. It's so much fun to teach people and get to know people. I'm so glad I'm out here and I'm learning SO MUCH. My personal studies are so good and I'm reading in Alma and the stories of Ammon, Amulek, and Alma are seriously amazing and I can't stop reading it. I love the Book of Mormon so much and I've never felt more peace in my life than now and there's nothing I'm more sure about than the fact the this book is true. James 1:5 says it so well and I could never deny this book and I can't see how anyone ever could!
Spiritual thought: Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." I love this scripture because it shows that God is always there for us. My favorite thing about this scripture that I just recently noticed is that it shows that YOU have to put in effort. It doesnt just say that itll be given to you, if says you must ask, and seek, and knock FIRST and then he'll answer us. We cant sit around and wait for answers and miracles, we must ACT IN FAITH and seek, because God has so many answers and blessings to give as long as we turn to him.
Anyways, I LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL!! I think about you guys all the time and I miss you so much!
