At-Home MTC Finished!!

Wow! To think that I have already been a missionary and done MTC for two and a half weeks now is absolutely ridiculous. The ups and downs are crazy cause there have been times where it was the worst thing ever, but overall, it has been one of the best experiences of my life. I go to the Provo MTC technically today since it is past midnight. I gotta get up in three and half hours to catch my flight but I can't sleep lol. I want to share a scripture that my grandma showed me the other day that I absolutely love. It is 3 Nephi 5:13 and it says, "Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life." I love this quote because it really has to do with missionary work. This is the missionary's purpose in a nutshell. It truly is a powerful scripture and makes me, as a missionary, feel important. The Lord chose me. He chose me to bring others unto him and live with him again. So I need to make sure that I choose the Lord. I need to choose to make him the center of my life and commit to making him the center of others lives. I am insanely scared and nervous to leave but I can't wait to start sharing the gospel. I'm gonna go and at least try to sleep before my flight real quick. Jesus Christ>>>>>

Merry Christmas

Hey everyone merry Christmas! I hope you all had a good Christmas! This week was pretty good we had a lot of stuff happen! So last Wednesday we had out huge mission Christmas party which was lit. We met up with the whole mission and the party didn't end a little after midnight and we still had to get on our bus and get home, so we didn't get to bed til about 2. Then the next morning we got up at 5:30 to get on the bus again and go to Piura again for our Multi zone conference in Piura. Then we came back home on the bus again late that night. Super exhausting but super fun! We've been able to find a good amount of people this week and we've seen a lot of success! It's been super fun lately in our area and me and my comp have so much fun together. On Saturday, we were in the area Mi Perú which is the poorest area in the whole city and the poorest place I've seen in my whole mission. DENGUE AGAIN

Hey how's its going! these last few weeks have been pretty good! A couple weeks ago we had a baptism for Kathryn and it went super good! It had to be like my firstbaotism ever where we didn't have a ton of problems, cause it went well! I got to baptize her and she couldn't stop smiling when she came out of the water!! Also ya a couple weeks ago, we visited a member who lives in such a sick house right along the river and jungle area. It was night time and the mosquitos were having a BLAST on me. The hermano looked at me and said, "oh don't worry, there's no mosquitos over here." And I wanted to say, hermano I litetally just had 2 of them fly into my ears and I've been smacking my body like SpongeBob and Patrick in that one scene in the SpongeBob movie for the past 20 minutes. The next morning I counted 42 bites on my right ankle, and 26 on my left ankle. I told my comp the next day, "ain't no way I don't get dengue from this." That ni...
